Pittsburgh, PA | Rosslyn Farms Household Manager Role Start Date: ASAP, but flexible for the perfect fit Hours: 30-35 hours/week, depending on the candidate’s preference Monday - Friday, hours similar to 8 am - 3 pm; flexibility to start earlier or end later with advanced notice would be great. Hourly Rate: $30-35/hr DOE Children: 4-year-old, 18-month-old, and newborn due in December Pets: One small hypoallergenic dog

Requirements

  • Up-to-date vaccinations required
  • Tdap and MMR required
  • Annual Flu shot strongly preferred
  • Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
  • Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Grocery shopping, keeping the pantry and refrigerator stocked.
  • Prep breakfasts, lunches, snacks and smoothies.
  • Prepare dinner approximately three days each week.
  • Keep an eye on what's running low, toss what's expired, and keep the refrigerator organized.
  • Help reset the house between visits from the family's biweekly cleaning service—loading and unloading the dishwasher, family laundry, changing sheets and towels, wiping down bathrooms, tidying common areas, and handling the light upkeep that keeps everything feeling put together.
  • Maintain the family calendar, communicate schedule changes, help schedule appointments.
  • Handle dry cleaning, packages and returns.
  • Keep track of household supplies, and restock things before anyone discovers they're out of toilet paper.
  • Take a car for an oil change, organize the garage, take the pup to vet and grooming appointments, straighten a pantry, or tackle the mysterious toy bin.
  • Keep the children's closets organized and seasonally appropriate, sort outgrown items, and help pack and make arrangements when the family travels.
  • Help with shopping, wrapping, party planning and prep, and occasional weekend event support and cleanup for birthdays, holidays, vacations, school projects, special events, and gifts.
  • Occasional executive-assistant-style projects, particularly during Mom's maternity leave, when an office errand or administrative task may need to be taken off her plate.
