About The Position

We are a family of five seeking a Household Manager & Family Assistant to help maintain the foundation that keeps our busy home running smoothly. This part-time role focuses on organization and meal preparation, allowing the parents, who work from home, to focus on their demanding professional roles and spend more time engaging with their three young children and golden retriever. We value efficiency, systems, connection, and presence. Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided for errands as needed).
  • Comfortable with dogs.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Current vaccinations preferred.
  • Self-directed and able to assess and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Professionalism and understanding of professional boundaries.

  • Ability to handle administrative tasks, including calendar management and receipt tracking.
  • Experience with pet care and vehicle management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain household organization systems, including daily resets, tidying high-traffic areas, and seasonal swaps.
  • Manage laundry and linen care, including washing, folding, organizing, and occasional ironing/steaming.
  • Oversee meal planning and preparation, including washing and preparing produce, ordering groceries, stocking refrigerators/freezers, and prepping ingredients for dinner.
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen surfaces and counters.
  • Manage household inventory and errands, including restocking supplies, managing orders/subscriptions, and handling mail/packages.
  • Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks and complete organizational projects for various areas of the home.
  • Provide administrative and personal assistant support, including managing the family calendar, processing children's papers, maintaining filing systems, and tracking expenses/receipts.
  • Provide light supervision/back-up childcare and prep children's backpacks/clothing for activities.
  • Manage pet care, including feeding, letting the dog in/out, scheduling appointments, and administering medications.
  • Oversee vehicle management, including scheduling maintenance, fueling, cleaning, and organizing vehicles.
  • Coordinate with and oversee vendors and contractors, including cleaners, landscapers, and repair services.
  • Manage seasonal property maintenance and outdoor spaces.
