About The Position

A part-time household support role for a busy family in San Antonio, Texas, with two young children and two full-time working parents. The position focuses on keeping the household organized and running smoothly through routine tidying, laundry, meal planning and ingredient preparation, grocery shopping, errands, inventory management, and occasional organizing and deep-cleaning projects. A parent works from home and is available for questions and guidance. The family values open communication, collaboration, reliability, initiative, and someone interested in a long-term working relationship. Occasional emergency childcare or help with pickups and drop-offs may be needed, but household support is the primary focus. The schedule is flexible on weekdays across approximately three to four days per week, typically in shifts of three to four hours, for a total of 10–15 hours per week. Mondays are preferred for a post-weekend household reset, and the family and candidate will agree on the schedule with flexibility around holidays. Compensation is $22–$27 per hour, based on experience. The start date is ASAP. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle; mileage is reimbursed. The role requires navigating stairs throughout the day and maintaining a smoke-free environment. The candidate must be comfortable preparing vegetarian meals and following the family's food preferences, and be authorized to work in the United States. A background check is required.
