About The Position

A busy family in the Kaysville, Utah area is seeking a dependable, proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to help keep the home and family life running smoothly. The role is led by meal preparation and focuses on cooking, light household resets, organization, errands, and anticipating household needs. A housekeeper handles deep cleaning. The goal is for meals to be prepared, the home to feel reset and organized, and everyday details to be taken care of when the family returns home.

This is a part-time role with flexible weekday hours, ideally around 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Pay is $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Previous experience as a household manager, family assistant, personal assistant, professional organizer, nanny, or in hospitality is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership without needing a detailed daily list.
• Detail-oriented and enjoys creating order and making life easier for a busy family.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a household manager, family assistant, personal assistant, professional organizer, nanny, or in hospitality is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, family-friendly meals.
• Prepare dinner and make-ahead meals.
• Prepare lunches, snacks, fruits, and vegetables.
• Grocery shop and keep household staples stocked.
• Clean and reset the kitchen after meal preparation.
• Lightly clean, tidy, and straighten common areas.
• Change bedding and linens.
• Keep household supplies stocked and organized.
• Organize closets, drawers, the pantry, and other household spaces.
• Put away household purchases and deliveries.
• Help maintain simple organizational systems throughout the home.
• Handle grocery and household shopping.
• Complete returns and exchanges, dry-cleaning, shipping, and donation drop-offs.
• Pick up household items and run miscellaneous errands.
• Assist with occasional household projects as needed.
