About The Position

Sage Haus is seeking a part-time Household Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy family with three young children and an energetic dog. The position is 15–20 hours per week, approximately 3–4 hours per day, 4 days per week. The schedule is variable and flexible depending on candidate availability and household needs. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour, based on experience, with a start date as soon as possible. The role provides trusted, autonomous support to help maintain a well-run home. The family has a weekly cleaner and needs assistance filling the gaps in day-to-day household operations, particularly laundry, errands, organization, and meal support. Applicants should have prior experience running a home, be meticulous, organized, reliable, calm, and able to take initiative and follow through without constant direction. They must be comfortable working alongside a parent who is at home, caring for young children as needed, and being around a protective family dog. A reliable personal vehicle is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided. The home must remain smoke-free, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Candidates must be up to date on recommended vaccinations in line with American Academy of Pediatrics and CDC guidelines, including flu vaccination, subject to applicable legal accommodations. The role requires navigating multiple levels throughout the day. A background check is required.
