About The Position

We are a warm, welcoming family of four based in Western Loudoun County. Our household is active, organized, and filled with the energy that comes from balancing busy careers and family life. Both parents work full-time, primarily from home, with occasional travel that keeps our schedule dynamic. We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, calm, and reliability to a busy household and who takes pride in helping a family thrive day to day. Our two school-aged children are involved in sports and afterschool activities that shape much of our weekday routine. We also have a friendly, energetic dog who is very much part of the family. Our home is lived-in and welcoming, with a steady flow of activity. We enjoy casual gatherings with friends and family, and value a space that feels both functional and comfortable. While we have biweekly cleaning support, the real need is what happens in between: the daily reset, ongoing organization, laundry, meal planning and prep, and proactive care that keeps a busy household from feeling overwhelming. We are looking for someone who naturally steps in to close the loop, anticipates what’s needed next, and maintains calm, order, and momentum throughout the week. This role is central to how our home runs, and the right person will have a meaningful and immediate impact on bringing structure, ease, and consistency to our daily life. Who You Are/About You: The right person for this role doesn't just check tasks off a list. You truly care about the home you're helping run. You are someone who finds real satisfaction in bringing order to a busy household, who notices the dog food is running low before anyone else does, and who takes quiet pride in the fact that things just work. You are proactive and naturally observant. You notice what needs attention before being asked and take initiative to address it. You think in systems and enjoy bringing order to a busy household. You are organized and efficient, with a calm presence in a full household. You are comfortable including children in age-appropriate tasks rather than focusing on entertainment or primary caregiving. You are warm, reliable, and self-directed. You communicate proactively, take ownership without being asked, and bring a steady, calming presence to a home that moves fast. You love anticipating needs, staying organized across many moving pieces, and making sure the family can fully exhale when the workday ends. You understand that your impact here is felt most in the moments you make easier for everyone else. If that sounds like the kind of work that energizes you, this household will be a great fit.
