Requirements
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license without restrictions
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Aggression Management and Trauma Informed
- Exceptional ability to ensure high-quality patient care and expedite concerns
- Advanced ability to supervise nursing staff and schedule shifts
- Ability to collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- In-depth knowledge of best practices and experience in Mental Healthcare
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Supervising nursing staff and their day-to-day duties on behalf of senior management
- Reporting any issues that may arise during shifts to managers
- Liaising with patients and medical professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Works as a mentor and assists with crisis intervention
- Participates in the facilities performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities
- Ensures Parkside's policies and procedures are followed and expedites issues of concern to senior administrators
- Performs administrative duties as necessary
- Provides overnight coverage when needed, either to cover absence or added shifts
- Weekly shift scheduling
