We are seeking a Full-Time House Manager for a warm, active family of four in Fort Worth, TX. This role is the heartbeat of the home, responsible for keeping the household running smoothly, anticipating needs, and making the family's day-to-day life feel lighter and more manageable. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting a family, maintaining a beautifully organized home with existing systems, and taking pride in creating calm behind the scenes. The family travels often, so flexibility, organization, and the ability to stay one step ahead are important. This is a long-term opportunity to become a trusted partner to the family.

Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (willingness to obtain upon hire is acceptable).

Responsibilities

  • Wash, fold, and put away laundry for the entire family, following specific preferences.
  • Take off bedding and remake beds, and refresh towels on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate dry cleaning pickup and drop-off.
  • Maintain tidy, well-stocked laundry rooms.
  • Perform a full daily reset of the home: dishes, surfaces, light vacuuming, trash.
  • Maintain and uphold existing organizational systems throughout the home.
  • Reset outdoor spaces regularly.
  • Identify and address household hot spots.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors.
  • Handle light handyman tasks.
  • Handle deep cleaning tasks not covered by the weekly house cleaner.
  • Clear and reset kitchen counters and garage on a weekly basis.
  • Take on organizational projects as they come up.
  • Assist with seasonal or holiday prep as needed.
  • Maintain and restock all household fridges weekly.
  • Manage running household supply lists; restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies on an ongoing basis.
  • Handle Amazon, Costco, and Target orders; bring in packages daily, open and put items away, break down boxes for recycling.
  • Handle returns (reboxing, label printing, FedEx/UPS drop-off).
  • Sort and flag important mail for the household.
  • Occasional gift shopping as needed.
  • Shop for groceries weekly.
  • Prepare approximately 2–3 dinners per week: healthy, balanced meals.
  • Ensure fresh produce and cut fruit are stocked and prepped weekly.
  • Organize groceries in the fridge upon return from shopping.
  • Support event and dinner party prep: setting the table, staging linens and glassware, coordinating with the family's prospective chef; handle cleanup the following day.
  • Prep backpacks, sports gear, uniforms, and after-school snacks.
  • Manage school-related communications and last-minute requests.
  • Handle ad hoc school or activity drop-offs and pickups on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide backup childcare support for occasional evenings.
  • Schedule and coordinate kids' appointments; vet and grooming appointments.
  • Maintain read-only visibility into the family calendar to anticipate weekly needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments for family vehicles; handle drop-off and pickup.
  • Coordinate detailing for primary vehicles every two weeks.
  • Use personal vehicle for day-to-day errands; family vehicle available when transporting children.
  • Pack for family members per itinerary provided by the family.
  • Manage full unpacking upon return: sorting, initiating dry cleaning, laundering, and returning all items to their proper place.
  • Coordinate grocery deliveries and local logistics for other family properties prior to arrival as needed.
