About The Position

Sage Haus is seeking a part-time House Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy, active family of four in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The role is 20–30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible five-hour shifts and morning start times preferred. Occasional flexibility for additional childcare or housesitting is preferred. The family travels frequently, hosts guests, and is building household routines and systems. The role is intended to help maintain an organized home and provide support with homeschool activities, children, meals, household operations, errands, and administrative needs. The position combines household management and family assistance with occasional child support; it is not primarily a childcare role. The successful candidate will be proactive, observant, self-directed, warm, patient, emotionally grounded, adaptable to feedback, and comfortable creating order without being prompted. The family values kindness, honesty, patience, compassion, integrity, and respect. The family follows a plant-focused, low-sugar diet and has specific food preferences and high standards for food hygiene and kitchen care. A background in education, childcare, or working with children is preferred, particularly in a homeschool environment. Food service or food preparation experience is a strong plus, and a second language is welcome. Compensation is $30–$32 per hour. The start date is ASAP. Applicants should submit a short introductory letter, an updated resume, and three professional references with contact information. A background check is required.
