About The Position

Sage Haus is seeking a thoughtful, organized House Manager / Family Assistant to help an active household in San Clemente, California, run smoothly. The family has grown children and a small dog; one household member works full-time from home, while the other frequently travels for business. The role supports established household systems, keeps day-to-day tasks on track, and helps maintain a calm, functional home environment. Professional cleaners are already in place. This is a part-time position for 15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours as needed. The preferred schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, ideally 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with flexibility around exact hours for the right candidate. Compensation is $38–$45 per hour, depending on experience. The start date is ASAP. The position includes household organization and upkeep, package and delivery management, errands, meal planning and preparation, laundry and linen care, pet care, vehicle coordination, vendor oversight, and administrative and personal assistant support. The successful candidate will work independently and quietly alongside a household member who works from home, communicate clearly, take initiative, and use sound judgment about when to engage and when to give space. An interest in cooking or meal preparation is welcome as the role evolves. Applicants should submit a short introduction letter, an updated resume, and three professional references with contact information. A background check is required. Applicants who apply through Sage Haus will also be added to its candidate community email list and may unsubscribe at any time.
