About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking experienced restaurant shift leaders who are motivated, work hard, and lead by example. Hourly Managers and shift leaders are expected to maintain a positive outlook and friendly demeanor, serving as role models for co-workers in areas such as professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. The role offers opportunities for continued growth and a potential long-term career with the company. Schedules are flexible, and positions are generally full-time, with overtime available if desired. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant. Overtime hours are available for top performers.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on one's feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Effectively open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Become well-versed and competent in all restaurant positions.
Work harder than everyone else.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest or customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and be responsible for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Lead and serve as a role model for co-workers in dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
