About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking experienced restaurant shift leaders who are motivated, work hard, and lead by example. Hourly Managers and shift leaders set a positive example for coworkers through their appearance, work ethic, and attitude, and understand how a friendly, positive workplace affects both coworkers and customers. The role offers opportunities for continued growth and a potential long-term career with the company. Schedules are flexible, and positions are generally full time, with overtime available if desired and for top performers. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on your feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and a Customer First mentality.

Responsibilities

Open or close the restaurant effectively by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Work harder than everyone else.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest or customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and take responsibility for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Lead by example for coworkers in dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
