About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is hiring experienced restaurant shift leaders to lead by example and maintain a positive, friendly workplace. Hourly Managers lead and serve as role models for co-workers in areas including professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. They may open or close the restaurant, work in all restaurant positions, and help deliver high-quality food and customer experiences. Schedules are flexible; positions are generally full-time, with overtime available if desired. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant. Overtime hours are available for top performers. Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on your feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Lead by example and set a strong standard of work for co-workers.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest/customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and take responsibility for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food-safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Model professional appearance, work ethic, and a positive attitude for co-workers.
