About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is hiring experienced restaurant shift leaders to lead by example and support a positive, friendly workplace. Hourly Managers and shift leaders serve as role models for co-workers in areas including professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. They may open or close the restaurant and must be competent in all restaurant positions. The role offers opportunities for continued growth and a potential long-term career with the company. Schedules are flexible, and positions are generally full-time, with overtime available if desired and for top performers. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on your feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be well versed and competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Lead by example and work harder than other team members.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest or customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and take responsibility for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Serve as a role model for co-workers in dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
