About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking experienced restaurant shift leaders who are motivated, work hard, and lead by example. Hourly Managers and shift leaders serve as role models for co-workers in areas including dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. The role offers opportunities for continued growth and a potential long-term career with the company. Schedules are flexible, and positions are generally full time, with overtime available if desired. The pay range is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant. Overtime hours are available for top performers.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods while standing.
Good attitude, open mind, and a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Effectively open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be well versed and competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Work harder than everyone else.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest or customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and take responsibility for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Lead by example and serve as a role model for co-workers in professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
