About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is hiring experienced restaurant shift leaders to lead by example and help create a positive, friendly workplace that benefits coworkers and customers. Hourly Managers and shift leaders serve as role models in dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. The position offers opportunities for continued growth and a potential long-term career with the company. Schedules are flexible, and roles are generally full time, with overtime available if desired. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, depending on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on your feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Effectively open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Lead by example and work hard.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest/customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and take responsibility for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
Serve as a role model for coworkers in dress code, professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude.
