About The Position

IPS Security Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, monitor and report activity, and work collaboratively with other staff members. The position is in Washington, D.C., and pays $20.50 per hour. The schedule is overnight on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Candidates must have open availability, effective oral and written communication skills, and strong customer service skills.

Requirements

• Must have a Security License; a DC SO License is required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must maintain company professional standards.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Must have open availability and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
• Hold doors open and help clients enter the building.
• Observe and report activity on site.
• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Work scheduled hours.
• Communicate effectively about reporting and tasks.
