About The Position

Kana Hotel Group seeks a Hotel Room Attendant to help deliver high-quality service and value to hotel guests. The role involves preparing and cleaning guest rooms, maintaining housekeeping supplies and work areas, inspecting rooms, and responding to guest requests. Room attendants are expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, cleaning rooms thoroughly within 25 minutes. Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience.
Attention to detail.
Previous customer service experience.
Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Load housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
Turn off room electricity and set heating or cooling to fan or cool.
Strip beds and take dirty linens from checked-out rooms to the laundry before cleaning; perform these steps immediately for newly checked-out rooms.
Clean the cart and ensure bottles are correctly labeled.
Clean rooms thoroughly and efficiently within 25 minutes.
Obtain the executive housekeeper’s signature on the work assignment sheet.
Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors.
Dust and clean decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces such as wall fixtures, window sills, and vents.
Clean showers, tubs, sinks, and other bathroom items, and remove used guest amenities and supplies.
Inspect rooms for safety hazards and check that equipment is operating properly.
Check linens for damage.
Report lost and found articles, maintenance problems, or special room issues to a supervisor.
Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests, such as delivering newspapers or cleaning spills.
Maintain clean storage rooms and stock the housekeeping cart.
Move linens from the housekeeping cart to the laundry cart and send them to the laundry.
Record room status on work assignment sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
