About The Position

Kana Hotel Group seeks a Hotel Room Attendant to clean and prepare guest rooms, maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, and respond to guest requests. Rooms must be cleaned thoroughly within 25 minutes. The role includes inspecting rooms for safety hazards and equipment condition, reporting maintenance or room issues, and recording room status. Responsibilities

Load housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
Turn off electricity in rooms, setting heating or cooling to fan or cool.
Strip beds in checked-out rooms and take dirty linens to the laundry before cleaning; promptly turn off lights and remove linens from newly checked-out rooms.
Clean carts and ensure bottles are correctly labeled.
Clean rooms thoroughly within 25 minutes.
Obtain the executive housekeeper’s signature on the work assignment sheet.
Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors.
Dust and clean room decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces such as wall fixtures, window sills, and vents.
Clean showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items, and remove used guest amenities and supplies.
Inspect rooms for safety hazards and equipment operating condition; check for damaged linens.
Report lost-and-found articles, maintenance problems, and special room issues to a supervisor.
Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests, such as delivering newspapers or cleaning spills.
Maintain clean storage rooms and stock the housekeeping cart.
Transfer linens from the housekeeping cart to a laundry cart and send them to the laundry.
Record room status on work assignment sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
