About The Position

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, completing and documenting guest and associate work orders, and troubleshooting and repairing various hotel systems and equipment. This role also involves maintaining pool systems, repairing furniture and fixtures, performing seasonal landscaping, and operating hand and power tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
