Hotel Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Hotel Maintenance Technician performs scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care, and completes and documents guest and associate work orders. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as maintaining, cleaning, and adjusting pool systems and chemicals. The technician will also repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances, and perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties. Operation and maintenance of hand tools and power equipment are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
