About The Position

Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Hotel Maintenance Make Ready Team member to maintain the quality of hotel guest rooms through preventative maintenance and repairs. The role helps ensure guest rooms meet established cleanliness, functionality, and brand standards. It also assists with preparing and setting up meeting rooms and event spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform guestroom upkeep tasks, including flipping mattresses, vacuuming under and behind furniture, deep-cleaning carpets, touch-up painting, dusting, bathroom cleaning, checking appliance functionality, inspecting and cleaning light fixtures, and examining grout and caulking.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in guest rooms to ensure they meet brand standards for cleanliness and functionality.
• Complete a preventative maintenance checklist for each guest room, covering furniture, doors and windows, bathroom fixtures, walls and ceilings, and electrical and mechanical items.
• Assist with preparing and setting up meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary amenities.
