About The Position

At McKibbon Hospitality, Room Attendants/Housekeepers help create a warm, home-like environment by keeping guest rooms clean, comfortable, and inviting while providing friendly, helpful service. The role works with the housekeeping and laundry teams to meet daily demands and deliver spotless, welcoming rooms. Housekeepers use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, restock guest supplies, report maintenance or safety concerns, and keep carts and storage areas clean and organized. The work involves spending much of the day on foot, moving housekeeping carts, and navigating guest hallways. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and the ability to lift, pull, and push at least 35 pounds, as well as use stairs and ladders for cleaning tasks. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States; required background screening may be a condition of employment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age; identification verifying age is required.

Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms and suites, including bathrooms and living areas, and change beds.
Work with the housekeeping team to provide spotless, inviting rooms.
Assist housekeeping and laundry teams in meeting daily demands.
Keep housekeeping carts clean, stocked, and ready for the next day's service.
Use professional cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Restock guest-room supplies, including toiletries, coffee or tea, and towels.
Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
Assist with laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, and transporting linens.
Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, professional manner.
