About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests at various banquet events. Your duties will range from meticulous event setup and attentive guest service to efficient breakdown and cleanup, requiring a high degree of teamwork, stamina, and adaptability.

Requirements

• Teamwork: Working closely with other staff including kitchen personnel, managers, and fellow servers.
• Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for long periods and carry heavy trays.

• Efficiency: Providing prompt and organized service.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in various venues and performing different roles such as buffet, plated, or bar service.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup: Laying tablecloths, setting tables (linens, silverware, glasses), arranging decorations, and setting up buffet/beverage stations before guests arrive.
• Guest Service: Greeting guests, escorting them to seats, taking food and drink orders (including dietary needs), serving meals and beverages efficiently, and refilling drinks.
• During Service: Delivering food from the kitchen, clearing plates and used items between courses, ensuring tables remain stocked with water and utensils, and attending to guest requests.
• Breakdown & Cleanup: Clearing all dishes, linens, and centerpieces; bussing tables; cleaning the event space; and organizing equipment and storerooms.
