About The Position

The Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator is part of a production team that manufactures quality inks and services to meet customer expectations. The role contributes to ink manufacturing by following standard procedures for production, product packaging, raw material handling, equipment operation, and safety. The position is based in Keene, New Hampshire, and works the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Total hourly pay, including the base rate and second-shift differential, is $23.00. The position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria in the applicable bonus plan.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and write and follow written instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Clear vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to frequently stand, kneel, bend, and lift, including pulling up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing operations according to standard operating procedures and job safety requirements.
Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, product packaging equipment, and other production equipment.
Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting and adjustments on ink mills and mixers as required.
Complete daily production logs and required reporting.
Propose improvements within the scope of the activity.
Maintain material supply levels in accordance with just-in-time manufacturing principles.
Operate a forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues, including automation such as pick-and-place systems and robotics.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing implementation.
Clean and maintain the work area, emphasizing 6S principles and sustainment.
