About The Position

The Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator is a member of a production team that manufactures hot melt inks and works to provide quality products and services that exceed customer expectations. The operator contributes to ink manufacturing, product packing, raw material handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety, following standard procedures and job safety requirements. The role is based in Keene, New Hampshire, and works first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and write and follow written instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Clear vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to frequently stand, kneel, bend, and lift; pulling loads up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing operations according to standard operating procedures and job safety requirements.
Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, product packaging equipment, and other production equipment.
Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting and adjustments on ink mills and mixers.
Complete daily production logs and required reporting.
Propose improvements within the scope of the activity.
Maintain material supply levels in accordance with just-in-time manufacturing principles.
Operate a forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues, including automation involving pick-and-place systems and robotics.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing implementation.
Clean and maintain the work area, emphasizing 6S principles and sustainment.
