About The Position

The Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator is part of a production team manufacturing Hot Melt Inks for consumer packaging and identification needs. The role contributes to producing quality products and services by following standard procedures for ink manufacturing, product packing, raw material handling, equipment operation, and safety. The position is based in Keene, New Hampshire, and works the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The stated hourly pay is $19.00, and the position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and write and follow written instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Clear vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to frequently stand, kneel, bend, and pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing operations according to standard operating procedures and job safety requirements.
Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, product packaging equipment, and other production equipment.
Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting and adjustments on ink mills and mixers as required.
Complete daily production logs and required reporting.
Propose identified improvements within the activity scope.
Maintain material supply levels in accordance with just-in-time manufacturing principles.
Operate a forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues, including automation such as pick-and-place systems and robotics.
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing implementation.
Clean and maintain the work area, emphasizing 6S principles and sustainment.
