About The Position

Jack Binion's Steakhouse offers an intimate, fine dining atmosphere featuring prime-cut beef, large sides, and desserts. The Host welcomes and seats guests and receives and records payment of restaurant guest checks. The role provides friendly, excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience.
• Ability to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand and walk, and move easily around the entire property for an entire shift.
• Physical mobility, with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs., and to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance while performing duties in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to work in areas with dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds, and varying air quality.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests in the restaurant.
• Acknowledge, greet, and converse with customers.
• Respond to visual and oral signals.
• Address guests' concerns and questions.
• Answer phones and assist guests with chairs while seating.
• Receive and record payment of restaurant guest checks.
• Provide friendly, excellent service.
