Requirements

• At least 6 months of service as a Cook's Helper.
• High-quality standards.

• Ability to communicate effectively with service staff, other cooks, and Cook's Helpers.
• Ability to prepare food items consistently.
• Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard recipes and preparation methods while keeping the workplace clean and orderly and cleaning the immediate area after completing tasks.
• Keep reach-in and walk-in refrigeration units and other storage areas clean and orderly.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Present food according to plating specifications and maintain high-quality and productivity standards.
• Use specified portions in all preparations.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and greet guests in a friendly, positive manner.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects credit on Harrah's and Horseshoe and encourage others to do the same.
