About The Position
Join the Front-of-House Team as a Host. Hosts create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and serve as guests’ first and last impression. The role involves greeting and seating guests, managing seating, assisting guests, maintaining the host station, supporting the front-of-house team, and reporting issues. Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid food safety and alcohol serving certifications, if applicable.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, provide accurate wait times, and efficiently seat parties.
- Use the table management system to optimize seating and accommodate guest requests.
- Answer guest inquiries, provide menu information, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Keep the host station organized and clean.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Promptly report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and incidents.
