About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is hiring a part-time Host for Bob's Steak & Chop House at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The role works in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment and helps provide an Exceptionally Distinctive Guest Experience. The Host ensures guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period or an entire shift, including standing for 5–8-hour shifts.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior host experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests at a clean, available table, pull out chairs, and place a clean menu in front of each guest.
• Answer the phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Control high volume outside the restaurant.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guests' well-being.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank each guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
