About The Position

Bucherer 1888 is seeking an energetic, warm, and experienced hospitality professional to join its Retail team as a Host. The Host is the face of the Bucherer hospitality experience and creates a warm, seamless, personalized journey for every client from arrival through departure. The role also supports private client events and creates moments of delight, which may involve light bites and food-and-beverage hospitality responsibilities. The Host reports to the Hospitality & Activation Manager.

Requirements

Experience hosting.
Willingness to work at the entrance door and greet all visitors.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with a professional demeanor.
Comfort communicating with VIP clients.
Self-motivated and a team player, with attentiveness to guests.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods during the workday.
Flexibility to work opening and closing shifts, as well as Saturdays and Sundays; shifts vary by week.

Responsibilities

Engage clients warmly when they enter and throughout their in-store journey.
Manage and monitor guest flow using the queue management tool to maintain an organized, elevated environment.
Stay aware of store activity, client flow, appointments, events, and operational priorities to proactively support the client experience.
Anticipate clients’ needs and offer thoughtful assistance, personalized touches, and support throughout their visit.
Relate and converse effectively with clients.
Offer and prepare hospitality offerings.
Keep hospitality spaces, equipment, and supplies tidy at all times.
Perform duties with professionalism, a warm demeanor, and discretion.
Follow security and operations guidelines.
Learn general brand knowledge and speak to the company’s history.
Understand the store layout and direct clients to appropriate locations.
Help host private client events and provide hospitality, potentially including light bites and food and beverage.
