About The Position
As a bartender on the Restaurant team, you’ll play a dual role as a team player and mixologist. You’ll provide customer service, share knowledge and enthusiasm for the bar menu, and assist throughout the restaurant, including answering phones and completing financial transactions. This is a seasonal position at Nordstrom’s NYC Flagship Broadway Bar.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of bartending experience in upscale, full-service restaurants.
- High level of professionalism and the ability to stay calm when dealing with customer concerns.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule.
- Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Showcase excellent customer service and knowledge and enthusiasm for the bar menu.
- Help out around the restaurant, including answering phones and completing financial transactions.
- Respond to customer concerns with professionalism.
