About The Position

The Restaurant Host provides friendly, professional customer service at Nordstrom’s Broadway Bar. The host greets and seats customers promptly, shares knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant’s menu and products, and assists with training new employees by reinforcing successful performance and offering help as needed. The role may also support other restaurant areas, including answering telephones, completing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.

• At least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality.
