About The Position

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing every guest with a positive, professional first and last impression. Hosts quote accurate wait times and answer guest questions when there is a wait. This position is hiring immediately and may be full-time or part-time. Previous experience is not required; training is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Interact courteously with guests by answering phones, greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders.
Complete sanitation practices at the front door, host desk, and lobby area, and help with crowd control.
Learn the restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
Learn the curbside process and takeout expectations.
Conduct side work as required for each shift.
