About The Position

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing every guest with a positive, professional first and last impression. When there is a wait, the Host quotes an accurate wait time and answers guests’ questions. Previous experience is not required; training is provided. The position is available full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
Ability to follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

Interact courteously with guests by answering phones, greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards at the front door, host desk, and lobby, and assist with crowd control.
Learn the restaurant seating layout, server sections, and how to deliver food.
Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
Learn the curbside process and takeout expectations.
Complete side work as required for each shift.
Provide accurate wait-time estimates and answer guest questions.
