About The Position
Join Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living as a Host/Hostess and help ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. The role works closely with servers and kitchen staff, oversees the dining entrance and lobby, welcomes residents and guests, and helps create a comfortable dining experience. The position also supports front-of-house and kitchen cleanliness and assists with training wait staff. Wind Crest is an 84-acre continuing care retirement community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and is part of Erickson Senior Living. Requirements
- Ability to safely lift or move with designated equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a kitchen or service environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the dining front entrance and lobby.
- Greet residents and guests warmly upon arrival.
- Provide the appropriate number of menus when escorting guests to their tables.
- Communicate effectively with guests, manage crowds, and ensure guests are comfortable while waiting for a table.
- Answer the phone professionally and follow up on requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen.
- Assist in training the wait staff.
