About The Position
The Host is the first Team Member guests see and helps ensure a positive dining experience from arrival through departure. The role greets and seats guests, presents menus, shares specials, manages the waiting list and quoted wait times, and maintains the floor plan board and table status. The Host also keeps the host area, tables, restrooms, and other restaurant areas clean and organized; stocks menus and merchandise; performs assigned side work; follows Company policies and procedures; attends required meetings; and completes other duties as directed by management. A neat, clean uniform, well-groomed hair, and personal hygiene are essential.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, and inform guests of specials.
- Treat guests in a manner that ensures their satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
- Take names on a waiting list and quote wait times when tables are not immediately available.
- Run the floor plan board.
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
- Clean and wipe down tables.
- Clean, organize, and stock menus in the host area.
- Complete side work, including replacing ketchup bottles, cleaning windows, and sweeping floors.
- Interact with guests as they arrive and leave to support a positive dining experience.
- Maintain restrooms throughout the shift, including refilling paper towels and hand soap.
- Organize merchandise.
- Report to work in a neat, clean uniform and maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
- Attend required meetings.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
