About The Position

Be the first smile guests see and the reason they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. As a Host at MGM National Harbor, you'll help create memorable dining experiences by greeting guests, managing reservations, and setting the tone for exceptional service in one of the region’s most exciting resort destinations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a restaurant as a dining host

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the restaurant
• Manage reservations, answer phones, and maintain accurate waitlists and seating charts
• Coordinate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special requests, celebrations, and guest needs
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, restaurant operations, seating arrangements, and in-house events
• Communicate guest preferences and requests to management, the kitchen, and service teams
• Monitor guest wait times and provide updates to ensure a positive experience
• Ensure menus are current, clean, and properly prepared for service
• Support Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Runners by providing accurate table and guest information
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and reception area
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including phone and podium responsibilities
