About The Position

As an Exterior Gardener at MGM National Harbor, you are the visual artist of our property, turning our outdoor landscapes into a lush, breathtaking paradise for our guests. If you love working outdoors, getting your hands dirty, and taking pride in creating beautiful, photo-ready spaces, this is your perfect playground!

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Responsibilities

• Plant, transplant, fertilize, prune, and weed flower beds, annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs using proper horticultural practices.
• Monitor plant health by checking soil moisture, fertilizer needs, and overall appearance to keep our greenery thriving.
• Masterfully use a variety of hand tools and equipment—from pruning shears and loppers to fertilizer spreaders and sod knives.
• Implement smart pest management and oversee efficient irrigation and watering techniques using sprinklers and hoses.
• Proactively inspect outdoor work areas to identify safety hazards and ensure our resort grounds always meet five-star appearance standards.
