About The Position

PJ’s at SentryWorld is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join its small team. The role is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and seating guests in a timely and courteous manner while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service. Hosts/Hostesses help ensure a smooth dining experience by managing seating and waiting lists, responding to guest concerns, and maintaining a clean and sanitary restaurant.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication and guest relationship skills.
Organized and effective work style.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

0–2 years of related hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests graciously, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Manage the seating chart and monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
Manage the restaurant waiting list during busy periods and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
Address guest issues or complaints and offer solutions to ensure satisfaction; inform a manager or supervisor of issues.
Routinely inspect the restaurant to ensure a clean and sanitary dining experience.
