About The Position

The Host/Hostess at Maravilla at The Domain supervises wait staff in preparing the dining room for meals, serving residents and guests, and servicing the dining room after meals. The role supports made-to-order dining with seasonal and regional menus, signature dishes, and daily specials. The position does not involve late nights.

The Host/Hostess coordinates seating, welcomes residents and guests into dining service, maintains the daily menu board, assists staff with delivering menu items, and ensures the dining room is cleaned, set up, and secured at the end of each workday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wait staff in preparing the dining room for meals, serving meals to residents and guests, and servicing the dining room after meals.
• Coordinate seating and initiate dining services by presenting menus and specials, answering questions, making suggestions about food and services, and minimizing backups at the restaurant entrance.
• Maintain the daily menu board.
• Assist staff in delivering all menu items to residents and guests.
• Ensure the dining room is properly cleaned, set up, and secured at the end of each workday.
