About The Position

Escorts guests to assigned seating area as directed. Greets and escorts guests to their assigned seats as requested. Accommodates and/or communicates reasonable guest requests, needs, or complaints to dining room manager or Maitre'D. Assists and supports other staff members as needed (bussers, waitstaff, etc.). Assists Maitre'D or dining room manager in development of seating charts, helps to determine reservation lists and guest counts. Assists Maitre’D or dining room manager with assigning seats to guests as needed. Assists Maitre'D or dining room manager with room set up and organization. Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required. May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No prior education needed
  • Possess good organization skills.
  • Basic math.
  • Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
  • Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.
  • No prior experience or training required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
  • Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers)
  • Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission License (TABC)
  • Sedentary to medium workload
  • Stand, sit and walk consistently
  • Will be required to lift up to or over 20lbs or exert occasionally over 50lbs
  • Will consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach
  • Will need to go up and down stairs several dozen times daily
  • Will use office equipment
  • Driving motor vehicles as needed
  • Frequently speak and articulate
  • Noise levels will be varied from moderate to heavy machinery
  • Exposure to weather and extreme elements are minimal
  • Minimal exposure in close proximity to horses
