The Host/Hostess welcomes and greets restaurant guests, obtains information from them, ushers them to their seats, and processes meal payments while ensuring a positive guest experience. The role is part-time and takes place in a hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy casino environment. Team members may encounter secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and frequent contact with the general public. The position involves regularly standing and walking, using hands, reaching, talking and hearing, and frequent lifting or carrying of more than 25 pounds, as well as stooping, squatting, and bending. Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check; checks may include credit and criminal background checks and a drug screen. The company gives hiring preference to members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American tribes, who meet job requirements.
