About The Position

The Bar Porter maintains the bar area by keeping it supplied, handling equipment, and removing empty or soiled items. The role maintains the service bar’s cleanliness according to established policies to help provide guests with a safe and memorable experience.

The casino is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. Employees may be required to work weekends and holidays. The work takes place in a hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy casino environment, with possible exposure to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and the general public. Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure through a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended. Checks may include credit and criminal background checks and a drug screen.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as required by the position.
• Ability to perform the stated physical duties, including standing, walking, handling items, reaching, and frequent lifting or carrying.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and equipment.
• Remove empty or soiled articles from the bar area.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness at the service bar according to established policies.
• Push, pull, stock, and unload carts and liquor cabinets.
