About The Position

The Host/Hostess welcomes guests to the restaurant and helps create a well-organized dining atmosphere. The role includes supporting service flow by monitoring seating and anticipating the needs of guests and the restaurant. Team members also remove dirty dishes, clean tables, ensure tables have clean linens, and serve drinks. The position requires a warm, friendly approach, attention to service standards, and a neat, professional presence.

The role is identified as PM and requires availability to work during the holiday season.

Requirements

• Ability to work during the holiday season.
• Ability to be patient with guests’ requests.

• Prior restaurant experience is highly preferred.
• Approachable and personable personality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and follow service standards.
• Monitor guest seating and plan ahead to meet guests’ and restaurant needs and maximize service flow.
• Use and accurately maintain the restaurant reservation system, including table status, rotations, cover counts, and guest notes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and crisp environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that contributes to the restaurant’s ambiance and presentation.
• Remove dirty dishes, clean tables, ensure tables have clean linens, and serve drinks.
