About The Position
Urban Plates is hiring Front-of-House Hospitality Team Members, including restaurant cashiers, bussers, and food runners, at its San Diego restaurant. The role delivers guest service, processes payment transactions, maintains cleanliness in guest dining areas, patios, and restrooms, suggests beverages and pastries, and guides guests through the service line and dining areas. The position offers hourly pay of $17.75–$21.08, with the potential to earn tips. Urban Plates provides paid training and cross-training, and describes opportunities for career development and advancement. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The restaurant presents an energetic, casual neighborhood atmosphere with an open kitchen and emphasizes fresh, made-to-order food and a welcoming guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver superior guest service.
- Process transactions for payment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house guest dining area, patios, and restrooms.
- Suggest beverages and pastries to guests.
- Guide guests as they navigate the service line and dining areas.
