About The Position

Independence Village of East Lansing, a Sonida Senior Living community in East Lansing, Michigan, is seeking a Hospitality Services Attendant to support dining services in an Independent Living community. The attendant serves residents and guests in the dining room, assists with food and drink preparation, maintains dining and refreshment areas, and supports chefs and dishwashing operations. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and access to educational and learning opportunities. Benefits are subject to employment status and location eligibility.

Requirements

One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Twelve or more years of education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
Perform assigned cleanup, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in common-area refreshment centers for residents.
Assist chefs with food preparation and serving as assigned.
Complete dishwashing tasks and schedules to support efficient dining service operations.
