About The Position

The Hospitality Attendant meets residents’ nutritional and therapeutic needs by providing palatable and attractive meals. The role requires knowledge of the facts, principles, and procedures involved in selecting, purchasing, preserving, and serving food, while meeting regulations for food production, distribution, and infection control. The attendant also assists with delivering special diets ordered by a physician.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age and have documented high school work papers.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nutritional and therapeutic needs of residents.
• Provide palatable and attractive meals to residents.
• Apply knowledge of food selection, purchasing, preservation, and serving procedures.
