About The Position

The Hospitality Attendant welcomes guests in the concierge lounge, helps coordinate guest requests with hotel departments, and provides information about hotel and local services and attractions. The role also involves maintaining the lounge and kitchenette, including cleaning surfaces, furniture, and floors and removing dirty dishes and glasses.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and protect staff and guest confidentiality.
• Ability to focus on tasks and complete assignments on time despite frequent interruptions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment, with prolonged sitting at a desk and computer use for 6–8 hours a day.
• Ability to perform frequent fine motor tasks, including keyboarding, using a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed.
• Visual ability to read computer screens and printed materials, including close visual focus and color differentiation for certain roles.
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings and use a phone and/or headset.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests in the concierge lounge within two minutes of arrival.
• Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments by making reservations and following up on special requests.
• Maintain information about hotel and local services and attractions, recommend options to guests, and suggestively sell hotel amenities and services.
• Clean the concierge lounge throughout the shift, including picking up dirty dishes and glasses and maintaining the kitchenette, floors, furniture, and surfaces.
